It is a masterpiece of sci-fi adventure released back in 2019 and even received a nomination for "best narrative" from the Game Awards. Now, it is finally available on the Nintendo Switch. Just like most other games on the Nintendo Switch, 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim features different supported play modes. These modes include:

That's a full array of modes, but how well will it work on the smaller Switch Lite? According to reviews and first impressions, the game is absolutely perfect for the Switch Lite. Its performance is good on the handheld-only console, and the sidescrolling gameplay just works wonderfully well.

13 Sentinels Aegis Rim fps & performance on Switch

13 Sentinels Aegis Rim on Nintendo Switch targets 60fps, and for the most part, this is a very smooth experience. The game's art style and graphics are also excellent, making it one of the best Switch ports to date.

The performance on Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite is excellent, with just some minor frame-rate drops during large, late-game battles. Best of all, you won't have to wait long for the game to load, as it should only take around 13 to 16 seconds.

From reviews and early feedback, it appears that 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim is one of the best Nintendo Switch ports thus far.

A must play, featuring 60fps, a fantastic story and much more. The game's file size is quite average for the Nintendo Switch as well, and its reported performance sounds great.
