Update on 8 December 2022: Sony's PlayStation Store may have leaked the release date of Capcom's newest fighting game. According to a leaked PS Store listing, Street Fighter 6 will release on 2 June 2023 and comprise Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Editions. This latest leak comes shortly ahead of The Game Awards 2022 ceremony, which is historically renowned for unveiling various major game updates and announcements.
Original Story continues: Street Fighter 6 is arguably Capcom's most anticipated fighting game of the decade. The game has presumably been on almost everybody's wishlist following its expected release on Windows PC, PlayStation 4|5, and Xbox Series X|S sometime in 2023. However, recent developments suggest that the title might be coming sooner rather than later.
As reported on Twitter by a user named xenosaga7, Street Fighter 6 has already been rated in South Korea. This scoring means that Street Fighter 6 has officially reached its end stages of development. Accordingly, the game has been rated suitable for teenagers aged fifteen years and older, essentially for mature audiences.

The rating itself stated that Street Fighter 6 had "limited expression of sexuality," shown via exposure through clothing and "violence," which is quite obvious already since previous games have been similarly rated too.
Although this rating doesn't provide additional information concerning Street Fighter 6's official release date or contents, it's safe to assume that the title will arrive fairly soon. The game was officially stated to release in 2023; however, considering the titles that Capcom announced in its recent financial results, it seems Street Fighter 6 likely won't release before 31 March 2023, according to Video Game Chronicles.
So, what does it mean for fans of the franchise? Well, Street Fighter 6 is obviously in its end-game development phases, meaning there's already a physical and digital version of the game that's presumably good to go. In addition, we now know South Korean fans will need to be fifteen years and older to play Street Fighter 6 once it releases.
That said, Street Fighter 6 is coming pretty soon, presumably after the first quarter of 2023. In saying so, The Game Awards 2022 is approaching and debuting on 9 December 2022. With it, Capcom might eventually announce new Street Fighter 6 content and (hopefully) a release date for fans to mark down on their calendars.
