Starfield AMD FSR 2 Support Explained
We are just going to cut to the chase right now. Starfield will support AMD FSR 2 at launch. There's even a Starfield x AMD partnership, which incorporates optimizations for AMD Ryzen CPUs and Radeon graphics cards!
FSR 2 is AMD's latest Open Source temporal upscaling solution. It uses cutting-edge temporal algorithms to reconstruct fine geometric and texture detail, producing anti-aliased output from aliased input.
So what does that mean for you, maybe even if you have an NVIDIA GPU? Well, the good news is that those with GeForce cards can also enable FSR 2, as it isn't exclusive to a brand such as NVIDIA's DLSS 3.
Gamers can expect boosts in framerates and even better native image quality when enabling FSR 2 in Starfield.
