Here, we go over how you can preload either Pokemon Scarlet or Violet to your Nintendo Switch so you can jump into the action as soon as possible.
How To Preload Pokemon Scarlet And Violet
Preloading is overall a simple concept. Preloading is when you download a game early onto your console so you can play the game as soon as it launches. The game will be fully downloaded but locked until the release date hits for the game. What that means is that when the release date hits, you will be able to play the preloaded game as soon as possible. Just be aware that preloading only works on digital forms of the game. So physical game buyers will have to wait until the launch date to pick up their copy of Scarlet and Violet.
Preloading Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is easy. The first thing you need to do is open up the Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo Switch. From there, you will search for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. You will then purchase the game from there. Once you have done that, you will be given the option to download the game. Go ahead and click download.
Just like that, the game will load into your Nintendo Switch console. Once the game downloads, you will have to wait until the game launches on November 18, 2022, to play it. But thanks to the preload, you can play it as soon as it hits midnight.
How Big Is The File Size For Pokemon Scarlet And Violet?
One thing that you need to make sure of is that you have enough memory space on your Nintendo Switch to preload the game. Without the right amount of space, you will not be able to preload the new Pokemon games to your Nintendo Switch.
