If you're looking for a guide on how to evolve Kirlia into Gallade in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you've come to the right place. Originally introduced in Generation IV, Gallade has become a fan favorite Pokémon over the years. So much so that Pokémon Scarlet and Violet decided to give Gallade a Paradox form with the robotic Iron Valiant. One of only four Fighting / Psychic-type Pokémon, Gallade is capable of dishing out massive amounts of physical damage.
This article will not only cover how to evolve your Kirlia into Gallade but where you can find Kirlia in the wild around Paldea, what level it will need to be in order to evolve, and where you can find Ralts as well (if you want to start using the Gallade line as soon as possible).
How To Evolve Kirlia Into Gallade In Pokémon Scarlet And Violet
To evolve Kirlia into Gallade in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you will first need to catch a male Kirlia. Only male Kirlia will evolve into Gallade as female Kirlia will evolve into Gardevoir. It should be noted that any gender of Ralts will evolve into Kirlia, so if you plan on catching a Ralts first, make sure it is male.
Once you have acquired a male Kirlia, you must give it a Dawn Stone as a held item. Then, you must level up the Kirlia one time, either in battle or by using an item like a Rare Candy. It is recommended to evolve your Kirlia into Gallade as soon as possible. The Fighting type will replace Kirlia's Fairy type, and the Pokémon's base stats will increase drastically.
Where To Find Kirlia In Pokémon Scarlet And Violet
The best place to find Kirlia in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is around the Porto Marinada Lighthouse near West Province Area Two and Porto Marinada. Kirlia will regularly spawn in the overworld here, allowing you to catch as many as you like.
Alternatively, Ralts can also be found in the overworld around South Province Area One. Then, you will have to level up your newly acquired Ralts to level 20, where it will evolve into Kirlia. If it is male, you can then give it a Dawn Stone, as mentioned above. If it is female, you will have to train it up to level 30, where it will evolve into a Gardevoir.
