Palia's v0.170 patch update added a wealth of new content, including balance reworks, new quests, and the Obstacle Course. But the update's highlight is the new Romance option for Hodari, which players can fall in love with by completing their quests to earn his pin.

Nevertheless, during the courtship, Hodari will present players with a delicious treat, the Heart-Shaped Quiche, which can be acquired from a Romance quest. We've detailed in this guide how players can acquire the Heart-Shaped Quiche from Hodari in Palia.

How To Find The Heart-Shaped Quiche In Palia?

The Heart-Shaped Quiche is one of the new consumable items that was made available in Palia in its recent v0.170 patch update. This delicious, savory treat has been made with plenty of fresh ingredients and a whole lot of love for you from Hodari.

As such, to acquire this delicious homemade quiche, players are first to get the Romance option for Hodari, which can be unlocked after reaching Friendship Level 3 and giving him a Box of Chocolates. After Hodari has accepted the gift, your courtship begins with him, and you'll have to complete his Romance questline, for which you can receive the Heart-Shaped Quiche.

More specifically, the Powering Through quest, which is unlocked after reaching Romance Level 2, is given to you after Najuma visits your housing plot and then speaks with Hodari. After learning that Hodari is feeling sick, he asks you to talk with Tamala to get some medicine rather than opting to take a day off.

This prompts you to gather resources for Tamala to produce medicine before returning to Hodari. You'll have to let some time pass for Hodari to recover before going back to his home to check up on him, which, after speaking with him, completes the quest, and they'll receive the Heart-Shaped Quiche along with Renown and increased Romance as rewards.

Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
