Phoenix Force is a five-cost six-power card in Marvel Snap that will revive a destroyed card at the same location, merge with it, and then allow that card to be moved each turn. That's a lot of effects for five energy, and knowing how each of them works will be the difference maker in a lot of games. Essentially, Phoenix Force's effect can be thought of as reviving a destroyed card, giving it plus six power, and allowing it to move each turn. There are tons of different ways for this card to be played, and we'll break down some of the best ideas here.
So, if you are ready to start using Phoenix Force in Marvel Snap, you've come to the right place. This article will cover the best Phoenix Force decks in Marvel Snap, including deck lists, strategies, and more!

Best Phoenix Decks In Marvel Snap
The best Phoenix Force decks in Marvel Snap are those that destroy cards. In order for the Phoenix Force to provide optimal value, you need to have at least some cards in your graveyard. Notice that we didn't say destroy decks earlier because full-on destroy might not be the best archetype to use with Phoenix Force. It is likely that some kind of hybrid destroy deck is where Phoenix Force will burn the brightest.
Brode's Move Destroy Deck
Ben Brode himself showed off an interesting archetype during the Developer Notes video for the Rise of the Phoenix season. His deck involved destroying cards that benefit from being moved and then reviving them with Phoenix Force. For example, destroying a card like Human Torch that, when revived with Phoenix Force and moved once, will become a sixteen-power card. If you manage to get Phoenix Force out earlier, it can be possible to move cards more than once as well, instead of only on the final turn. There are tons of different Move Destroy deck lists out there, so feel free to mix and match some of the cards around until you find a list that works for you.
Brode's Move Destroy Deck List:
- Human Torch
- Iron Fist
- Kraven
- Ghost-Spider
- Cloak
- Doctor Strange
- Venom
- Vulture
- Spider-Man 2099
- Phoenix Force
- Heimdall
- America Chavez
Standard Destroy Deck
Despite what we mentioned earlier, standard destroy decks are still a great fit for Phoenix Force. While the revived cards may not receive as much benefit from being able to move every turn, it is still possible to move the powered-up card to a more advantageous position.
Standard Destroy Deck List:
- Nova
- Yondu
- Bucky Barnes
- Carnage
- Wolverine
- Killmonger
- Venom
- Deathlok
- Shang-Chi
- Phoenix Force
- Knull
- Death
