The Japanese giant has announced a brand new digital event with hopes to calm gamer summer anxiety.
The last time Sony had news for us was back in May when also in a State of Play digital event they deep dived into their platform exclusive Horizon Forbidden West plus gave us a look at the new Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
Here we will tell you everything you need to know about the newest State of Play event so you can enjoy it fully.
State of Play July 2021 date and time
The broadcast is programmed to live stream this Thursday, 8th July at 2 pm (PT), 5 pm (ET) or 11 pm (CEST).
How to watch
You will be able to stream it live through both the Twitch and YouTube PlayStation official accounts.
What to expect
As announced by PlayStation itself, we will witness a more profound look at the Deathloop’s world.

The extended gameplay sequence will feature the protagonist, Colt, as he stealthily roams around Blackreed Island or engages in a gun full mayhem.
The full show should last around 30 minutes as there also some updates on indie and third-party titles.
Although they were quick to assure that there will be no updates other games and features like God of War, Horizon Forbidden West or next generation’s PlayStation VR.
There were rumours on Twitter that they could release an NBA 2K trailer or quick peek but we will have to tune in on Thursday to figure it out.
