The release of the new major update for Genshin Impact is closer than ever, where players will finally be able to learn all about the Inazuma region, the third nation of Teyvat that will usher in the next part of its main story.
Being a great revelation, many hope that miHoYo will reveal everything they have been working on in recent months through a long showcase packed with details about the new region and even some of the next characters that will appear in the game.
It seems this will be the case since, through new reports by the leaker Sukuna, a series of emails sent from miHoYo’s team to some content creators dedicated to their RPG were found, revealing the date and duration of the presentation of the new update.
Genshin Impact 2.0 Showcase: Schedule and how to watch
As shown by Sukuna, miHoYo will hold its live presentation of Genshin Impact's new update on 9th July, at 9 AM PST exclusively on Twitch. The latter turns out to be a big surprise since these types of presentations are usually carried out on the game's official YouTube channel.
This time, their YouTube channel will have the full presentation available four hours after the initial broadcast, marking a possible alliance between Twitch and miHoYo.
Likewise, the leaked emails revealed the update in which Inazuma will arrive would be the Genshin Impact 2.0 update, marking a new cycle within the game by skipping several development numbers.
Genshin Impact 2.0 Showcase: Duration and what to expect
The presentation of the Genshin Impact’s update 2.0 will last for about an hour, in which various details about the new region, part of its history, as well as many of the characters that will arrive in the game in future patches, weapons, artifacts, and more, will be shown.
