The v19.10 update for Fortnite has just been released this morning (18th January) and it comes packed with new content and changes.
The main theme of the update is centred around mysterious creatures called Klombos which can help you in the battle if you feed them with some Klomberries.
Other than them, the big thing is the return of one of Fortnite's iconic POIs - the legendary Tilted Towers.
But that's not the only thing returning in Fortnite v19.10. The Grenade Launcher is finally unvaulted and it comes with some interesting changes and improvements, which should make it a more desirable option going forward.
Let's see what's new with the Grenade Launcher in the Fortnite v19.10 update.
Fortnite Grenade Launcher changes in v19.10 update
During Fortnite's history, the Grenade Launcher has been vaulted several times because it was a generally unpopular weapon due to its limited usability.
The Grenade Launcher has been unvaulted on patch 11.3 as the Snowball Launcher with the addition of the Uncommon variant, but shortly after it was vaulted again.
Now, Epic Games is bringing the weapon back again in patch 19.10 and hopefully, this time around it will be more powerful and will find its place in the meta.
Here are the main changes in this update:
- Several tweaks in order to make the Grenade Launcher more responsive
- Projectiles now explode after their first bounce
- The Grenade Launcher fires more directly at your target
