We have arrived into week 4 of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, and a new set of challenges and missions are also available for players to complete and grab XP for their battle pass. One of these challenges tasks us to transmit data to drones.
While it's quite an easy task, finding the drones can be a bit tricky for some players. You will unlock this quest after completing the Week 1, Week 2, and Week 3 Resistance quests in the game. Here is where you can find the drones and how you can transmit data to them.
Fortnite: How to transmit data to drones?
Transmitting data to drones is the stage two quest of Week 4 Resistance Challenges, and the first thing you need to do is a device uplink near any one of the Seven Outposts. Once you do it, you will be redirected toward the nearby drone location, and the locations of all drones will get marked on the map.
The drones can be found near the buildings, inside or on top of them, so make sure to follow the directions. Once you reach the drone, you will have to go near it, and an option to transmit data will appear.
Keep pressing the required key to transmit the data to the drone, and once it's done, the drone will fly off, and the challenge will be completed.
However, make sure to loot some weapons before trying to complete the task, as other players might also be there for the same purpose, and you might get eliminated. It is also advised to go with a team if you are unable to do it on your own.
