The Esports Awards is one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in all of gaming. Often described as the Oscars of the esports world, the Esports Awards seeks to recognize outstanding talent and excellence in the industry. Every year, nominees are honored in various esports categories for their skill and performance.
On November 10, 2022, the Esports Awards announced their partnership with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). As the official charity partner of the 2022 Esports Awards, together, the two brands are working together to raise funding to support those affected by blood cancer.
Esports Awards 2022 Announce Partnership With Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the largest non-profit organization dedicated to creating a world without blood cancers. They fund ground-breaking research while also going above and beyond by providing personalized patient, family, and caregiver support and driving change in public policies that affect cancer patients. This partnership will hopefully shine an even bigger spotlight on the #TiltCancer initiative - a movement dedicated to bringing together community passions, gaming, and giving back.
All funds raised via donations will be used to advance LLS's mission to find cures and support all patients and families that have been affected by blood cancer. Similar to the partnership between The Esports Awards and Make a Wish in 2021, the hope is that even more funding can be raised for such a good cause. The 2022 Esports Awards are a great opportunity for LLS to be globally recognized, with names such as Lexus and Plarium and top industry organizations such as FaZe Clan, Loud, and 100 Thieves in attendance.
Esports Awards 2022 And LLS - What To Expect
LLS will be featured in the Esports Awards directly throughout the campaign and the main ceremony, with tons of activations and rewards for achieving donation targets. Additionally, a special guest VIP host will be involved in these incentives with challenges and donor rewards at the main awards event in Las Vegas on December 13, 2022.
Michael Ashford, the CEO of Esports Awards, commented: “It's great to welcome The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to the Esports Awards family. 2022 is a big year for us, so it's an honor to bring on board such an incredible cause to join us on our journey. The goal is to raise as much money as possible for the charity with exclusive activations and donation incentives featuring some very special guests.”
This year, the Esports Awards will host three days of exciting content kicking off on December 11, 2022, before the Esports Awards themselves take center stage on December 13, 2022.
