Does The Callisto Protocol Have Early Access?

The upcoming third-person survival horror game, The Callisto Protocol, is already making waves throughout the video game community. Releasing on 2 December 2022, there is only a short wait until players will finally be able to get their hands on this terrifying title. However, if you want to be playing The Callisto Protocol as soon as possible, you may be wondering whether or not the title has early access.

Does The Callisto Protocol Have Early Access?

Unfortunately, The Callisto Protocol does not have early access. It was confirmed that the game would not be receiving any kind of early access regardless of pre-orders or premium purchases. So, if you were hoping to jump into the many horrors The Callisto Protocol has to offer, you are going to have to wait for the scheduled release date like everyone else. 

However, there is a well-known exploit that Xbox players can abuse to receive the game as early as possible. By changing your location to New Zealand or Australia, you will be able to play several hours before everyone else. This will only result in a few extra hours of playtime, however, so only the most hardcore Callisto Protocol enthusiasts are likely to do this. 

Despite The Callisto Protocol having no early access, it was confirmed that early access would likely be available in the future for possible DLC. It was stated that PlayStation users would be given 48-hour early access to a future unreleased story as part of DLC.
