Warzone "Current Profile Is Not Allowed" error - How to fix

Call of Duty Warzone Pacific Season three has players excited to hit the ground running with its new changes and additions to the game. But it comes with a bump in the road for some Xbox players who are receiving a "Current Profile Is Not Allowed" error when trying to play the game.

In this post, we'll give you more information about the error that is giving players trouble when trying to access the new Season of Warzone Pacific and the possible fix we can use while the Dev team investigates on their end.

What is the Warzone "Current Profile Is Not Allowed" error?

The error is specific to Xbox players and essentially amounts to Warzone assuming that players need to have an Xbox Live Gold subscription to play the game, and blocks them from accessing the game. But we know this is not the case, as the game is free-to-play for Xbox Silver subscription holders, which is the free subscription option for Xbox owners.

Raven Software is currently aware of this issue and has made a public announcement to say that they are currently working on it as stated in a tweet from their official account. They have also marked off the bug on their official Trello board for us to track.

Though this might seem like a gloomy situation for Xbox players, there is something you can do about it that we are aware of. And while it might not be a surefire fix, it's still worth the try, as it might work for you.

Warzone "Current Profile Is Not Allowed" error - Solutions

Some users have found luck by trying to force the Call of Duty servers to re-verify their accounts. To do this, try the following steps and after one, attempt to get into Warzone:

1. Go back to the first menu screen of Warzone.
2. Close down the application fully and re-open it.
3. The last resort is to give your console or computer a restart and try to log back in.

While this isn't guaranteed to work, it's worth the shot since this is a server-side bug that we can't do much to correct from the player's side. But it is still worth a shot and you might get lucky to have it work for you.

We will have to wait for Raven software to release a hotfix exclusively for Xbox players within the next day or two at most as this is not a massive bug thankfully.
