Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass: Release Date, Price, Rewards, More

There is currently no Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass to be found, but thanks to the greyed-out menu option, we know that one will be coming out eventually. Battle Passes are always a great way to reward players for their time spent in the game, and Call of Duty Battle Passes are no exception.

Tons of rewards and boosts are waiting in a Call of Duty Battle Pass. This article will cover the release date and goodies for Modern Warfare 2's Battle Pass. 

Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass Release Date

Don't worry, the Battle Pass menu won't stay grey for much longer! The Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass release date is November 16, 2022.

This is also the same date that Season 1 of the game will arrive. This is likely so that players have a short time to get accustomed to the game's mechanics and weapons before the official Season starts. It also allows story-focused players to finish up the PvE game mode first in order to eliminate any distractions in the future. 

Additionally, it gives players time to unlock most of the weapons and operators ahead of time, so when Season 1 finally drops, you know the exact loadout that suits your playstyle. 

Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass Price

The Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass Price will be 1000 COD points ($10 / £10), much like it is in other Call of Duty games. For players who purchase the Vault Edition of the game, the Battle Pass is already included, along with 50-tier skips. 

Alternatively, players who purchase the regular addition will be able to skip tiers by spending 150 COD points per tier. 

Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass Rewards

The exact rewards per tier for the Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass are currently unknown. However, based on the previous Call of Duty Battle Passes, it is safe to assume that the Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass will come with a healthy mix of exclusive Operators, weapon blueprints, and skins.

Battle Passes usually come with 100 tiers, each offering a new reward to the player. Additionally, the game will also likely refund approximately 1300 COD points to players who complete the entire Battle Pass over time via milestone rewards.
