Cold War July 16 patch notes: League Play Rewards, 2XP + 2WXP, Zombies fixes

The First Black Ops Cold War patch following the Season 4 Reloaded update has just been released.

If you were expecting some balance changes, we will have to disappoint you as this patch doesn't have any, but that doesn't mean that the patch is insignificant.

The highlight of the July 16 update is new Call of Duty League-themed League Play rewards, including exclusive “Pro Issue” Weapon Blueprints, Weapon Charms, Stickers, Emblems, and more.

You can earn these rewards by simply winning games in ranked, beginning with this weekend’s League Play Event.

Here are the rewards you can unlock based on the number of wins:

• 10 Wins: Weapon Charm, Sticker, and Emblem
• 20 Wins: “Pro Issue” Pistol Blueprint, Weapon Charm, Sticker, and Emblem
• 35 Wins: Weapon Charm, Sticker, and Emblem
• 50 Wins: “Pro Issue” Assault Rifle Blueprint, Weapon Charm, Sticker, and Emblem
• 75 Wins: Weapon Charm, Sticker, and Emblem
• 100 Wins: “Pro Issue” SMG Blueprint, Weapon Charm, Sticker, and Emblem

Additionally, there is an XP bonus system that can bring up to 10,000 XP, also based on the number of wins.

Asides from the new system, the update also marks the start of the 2XP + 2WXP bonus weekend and brings several fixes to both Zombies and multiplayer.

Events

• 2XP + 2WXP Weekend
  • Double XP and Double Weapon XP now live from 10AM PT July 16 to 10 AM PT July 19 in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.

UI

• Addressed UI errors that could appear in multiple locations.

MULTIPLAYER

Scorestreaks

• Addressed an issue where players could not respawn after being killed by a Nuke Scorestreak while a teammate was controlling a remote Scorestreak.

Challenges

• Addressed an issue where the “Nothing but the Hits” Season Four Challenge was not properly resetting on death.

• Added new Win Milestone Challenges that award Call of Duty League-themed Weapon Blueprints, Weapon Charms, Stickers, and Emblems along with XP bonuses up to 10,000 XP when players reach certain win milestones starting with Season Four Reloaded:

  • 20 Wins: Pistol Blueprint, Weapon Charm, Sticker, Emblem
  • 35 Wins: Weapon Charm, Sticker, Emblem
  • 50 Wins: Assault Rifle Blueprint, Weapon Charm, Sticker, Emblem
  • 75 Wins: Weapon Charm, Sticker, Emblem
  • 100 Wins: SMG Blueprint, Weapon Charm, Sticker, Emblem

ZOMBIES
