So you overcame the deadly cannons outside the Arcane Tower and have finally reached the generator on the ground floor? The Arcane Tower is one of the many hidden and optional locations you can explore in Baldur's Gate 3.
The place has a lot of similarities to Dracula's Castle from Castlevania, both in its environment and its resident. This entire tower in Baldur's Gate 3 is full of contraptions, one strange NPC, a secret basement, and a powerful Staff. However, you can't get to any of these until you have turned on the generator on the ground floor of the Arcane Tower. Here's how to do it.
How To Activate The Generator In Arcane Tower
To turn on the generator in Arcane Tower, you need a flower called Sussur Blossom. Luckily, you can find two right outside in the courtyard next to the tree with blue petals. Do note that you can't perform magical abilities while in possession of a Sussur Blossom, so don't get into a fight until you have used or abandoned them.
Once you have the Sussur Blossom, go back to the generator and combine it with the other item. Doing so will bring back power to the Arcane Tower. The Elevator will start working, allowing you to explore every nook and cranny of this tower. The Arcane Cannons will awaken as well though they will be non-hostile.
And that's it! That concludes our guide on how to turn on the generator in the Arcane Tower. Make sure to drop the other Sussor Blossom or send it to the Camp's stash because a deadly fight awaits on the top floor.
