Baldur's Gate 3: How To Enter The Arcane Tower

Do you fancy exploring the mysterious Arcane Tower in the Underdark of Baldur's Gate 3? Whether you're a veteran CRPG player or a newbie, exploring the dilapidated locales of the Underdark is no easy feat. To begin, there are deadly Elf cultists and Goblins waiting for their next victim. While exploring, you may also stumble upon exploding plants that can set the entire area on fire. 

The worst of all is the Arcane Cannons outside the Arcane Tower, guarding the deepest darkest secrets of its long-gone owner. Getting in isn't easy. As such, here's our guide, which explains how to enter the Arcane Tower in Baldur's Gate 3. 

How To reach The Arcane Tower In Baldur's Gate 3

Firstly, there's no direct way to avoid the laser beams of Arcane Cannons. There are two guarding the entrance, and there are two more just beyond the front door. If you can get past them, you should be able to explore the entirety of Arcane Tower with ease. 

However, getting past them is easier said than done. The trick is to get your tank character, preferably Karlach, to dash from cover to cover and quickly use their main melee attack on the turret to shut them down temporarily and clear the pathway for others. 

Before you send your bravest soldier to the battlefield, go to the character screen and split them up from others, so that the entire party doesn't follow them into the valley of death. Once they are split, get ready to dash and slash. You may want to use the turn-based mode to better navigate the environments and stun the cannons quickly.

Once all the cannons are down, switch back to your main character and group everyone together. Now it's time to unravel the secrets of the Arcane Tower!
