How to watch ALGS Pro League 2022 Split 1: North America

The Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Split 1 Playoffs started on 15th January and will conclude with the North American division on Sunday, 23rd January 2022. The tournament boasts a massive USD 1 million prize pool and, although traditionally held as a LAN event, has been pushed into an online format due to Omicron.

While esports enthusiasts will miss the vibrancy of the offline event, developers Respawn Entertainment did note the following: "Experience everything, from the drop to looting, every strategic rotation, every clean wipe, every clutch play, every kill, and every final circle through the eyes of the players you choose to watch. This is the ALGS like you've never seen it before."

Apex Legends enthusiasts can watch the North American division of the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs on the official Apex Legends Twitch and YouTube channels from 10 PM GMT on 23rd January 2022.

The South American, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) South divisions have already finished their matches.

ALGS Split 1 to debut Multiview

Notably, The Split 1 Playoffs will debut a new "Multiview feature" on Twitch to give viewers "exponentially greater control over how they consume ALGS matches."

In a nutshell, viewers will have the option to watch ALGS on two to four split-screen windows using the Twitch Command Center. "The tool lets you watch the action from multiple viewpoints, so you'll be able to choose which teams and players to watch and listen to their in-game audio."

ALGS Pro League 2022 Split 1 NA: Twitch Drops

Viewers will receive a drop for every cumulative hour of the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs that they watch. 

There are four Twitch Drops available during the ALGS weekend. 

• ‘ALGS Playoffs '21’ Holospray (Rare)
• ‘Scarlet Scale’ Prowler Skin (Rare)
• ‘Singularity’ Bloodhound Skin (Rare)
• ‘Champions Cup’ Gun Charm (Epic)

How to enable Twitch Drops for ALGS

If you enabled Twitch Drops in the previous season, you do not have to allow it again.

If you haven't, then follow these four steps:

1. First, make sure your platform account is linked to your EA Account.
2. Next, create or sign in to your Twitch account and connect it to your EA Account.
3. Then, watch the Apex Legends stream on Twitch to earn your Drops.
4. Lastly, claim your Twitch Drops from your inventory when they’re available.
