Sentinels winning the Masters Madrid trophy and their epic finals against Gen.G served as a huge factor in achieving these numbers.

Following this success of Masters Madrid, Leo Faria, Global Head of Valorant Esports has announced a new segment for Masters Shanghai that "will increase competition
stakes." In the event, the high-seeded teams will get to choose their opponents following the Swiss stage, making seeding matches even more crucial.

In the few upcoming days, all the qualified teams for Masters Shanghai will be finalized and we will see them battling from May 23 through June 9. The event will feature a total of 12 teams from EMEA, Americas, Pacific, and China and will conclude at the largest venue in VCT history— the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
